As a true Seattlite Shaunte’ Howlett developed a love and passion for all things art at an early age. Drawing, sketching, sculpting, etc., she gravitated to it. Mother-daughter nail spa days as well as her family’s support, helped her find her passion for nails although it was only a hobby. Working her way through life and various companies made her crave a business of her own, so she set out to turn her hobby and joy into her own brand and company. She graduated from the Nail Technicians program at Evergreen Beauty College in 2018 and the Instructors Training Program in 2022. Quite often things are so focused on image and opinions that we feel the pressure to be put together elegantly just to go to the nail salon. Dwelling on that as well as gathering the kids can add stress when all you want is to pamper yourself and escape for a little me time. This is what motivated her to start Lush Brush Nails and Beauty, LLC in 2018, providing mobile salon services, custom press on sets, spa parties, and nail education workshops.
